Honor in Power

The majority of sheriffs in the Sunshine State used their authority to uphold the law and maintain the safety and tranquility of the local citizens.  They sacrificed personal safety and comfort to bring lawbreakers to justice.  Some even made the ultimate sacrifice. They understood the honor conferred on the position and the necessity of serving to the best of their ability.
