Accompanying note: "Monticello Opera House was built in 1890, as a part of the "Perkins Block." It is located on Courthouse Circle, at the intersection of Rt 90 and Rt 19. Apart from the entrance the Opera House was on the second floor with stores on the first. Now both floors are used and the building serves as a playhouse, a conference center, a wedding venue and meeting place."
